Just the FAQ’s ma’am

  • All pieces are made by hand in a community studio using handbuilding and wheel throwing. I use a combination of stoneware and porcelain and fire all my pieces to Cone 10.

  • Small variations in shape, glaze, or texture are normal and intentional. These details reflect the process and the human hand. Even when forms are similar, no two pieces are exactly the same. Some pieces are fired in reduction or soda, which will always produce a completely unique glaze pattern.

  • Yes. All functional pieces are made with food-safe clays and glazes and fired to appropriate temperatures.

  • Yes! Though it’s recommended to hand wash when you can for longevity. But who has time for that? Just put them in the top rack when you can.

  • All sales are final due to the handmade nature of the work. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours.

  • Short answer…it depends. On type, size, and quantity. But I’m open to it! Please reach out on my contact page

  • Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days unless otherwise noted. Pre-orders will have estimated lead times listed on the product page.

  • A pre-order reserves a piece before it is made. Because I work in small batches, and don’t have my own kiln (yet!) pre-orders take time. Estimated timelines are listed on each product page.

  • Each piece is carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely. I aim to use minimal and recyclable packaging when possible. Consider yourself lucky if you receive a reused box from another potter that I’ve purchased something from. Just passing on the love while saving the environment.

  • Yes! If you are in the Greater Boston Area and want to pick it up in Somerville, please reach out right away. If you purchased already and paid shipping I can refund the shipping and hold the item for you for up to 2 weeks.

  • Feel free to reach out through the contact page. I’m always happy to help.
